A rich and complex barrel aged doppelbock brewed in collaboration with Orbit Beers. Nemesis pours a tawny amber with aromas of cherry, plum and oak. The dark fruit character of the Madeira barrel blends seamlessly with the malt driven raisin and caramel flavours of the doppelbock. Rounded out with a warming and slightly tart finish. Best enjoyed with friends and/or rivals.

Straight from the barrel at Goose Island Brew Pub, Shoreditch, 15/11/19. Mid chestnut brown with a decent beige covering. Nose carries good barrel vibes, raisins, coconut, spice, dark fruit peel, toffee. Taste comprises tangy fruits, sweet malts, barrel tones, prunes, dates, stewed fruits, wooded notes, leather, tobacco. Medium plus body, soft carbonation, boosty rise in the close. Solid work.

Right out of the barrel at Shoreditch. Dark brown, mahogany body with a small bubbly head. Aroma comes in sweet, prunes and raisins and a hint of booze. Taste is more dark fruity flavors, some barrel notes, woody and a nice dose of alcohol warmth.
