0.33l bottle, BB 18.06.2019 - this bottle is likely from late 2016 or some time in 2017, wow! 8.1%. Enormous thanks Fil for digging it up and sharing it with us! Very dark blackish body, tiny off-white head. Creamy aroma, raisins, lightly tart, bit oily, soy sauce in evidence. Tart, raisiny, blueberry taste, soy sauce, light cocoa, lean, dry, light alcohol. Hahah, obviously out of shape, didn't age exactly perfectly, even though it was likely constantly kept cold for the last 8 years, but really fun to try anyway! Giving it a bit more in overall to balance out the age.

Flascherl (Díky, pane profesoře!): Very deep chestnut-amber coloured, presumably clear, small tanned foamy layer, moderate sweet and mildly bitter aroma of roasted malt and dried fruits, only molecular leathery traces; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, very soft and nearly full bodied; lingering and warming fruity-vinous and toasty-roasty finish with a certain bitterness in the aftertaste. A goody...

Bottle picked up from the REWE supermarket on the trading estate en route to München and the airport, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Bavaria, Sunday 7th April 2019 listening to Sandy Denny- The North Star Grassmen and The Ravens. Pours black with a tan head, burnt toffee, liquorice and roasted malts on the nose. In the mouth works well for not being too cloyingly sweet and a little retro in style. Roasty, with cinder toffee, liquorice, a little brine, sweet but with a dry finish. Very good.

Rerate from tap at Hallertauer Bierfest. Black, brown ring, great licorice, iodine aroma, roast, medium full dry body, dark brown head. Very dry and drinkable, great upgrade!. Flasche, schwarz. Braun heed. Roasted notes, licorice, light manure ( in a good way). Medium full, dry roast body, quite chewy. Full on chocolate, dark roasted malt, licorice aftertaste. Noticeable aromatic background hops. Solid classic big imperial stout.

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is liquorice, chcolate, roasted malts, soy sauce. Taste is roasted malts, liquorice. Bitter roasted finish with lots of hops. Silky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Very good for what it is, a no-bullshit classic Imperial Stout.
