Der malzaromatische Duft und die feinen Röstaromen lassen sich auch beim ersten Schluck deutlich erkennen.

Had this at Bierbörse Leipzig May 2018. Dark brown in the glass, light fruity aroma. Starts dry-malty, bit metallic. Light notes of caramel in the background. Quite drinkable. Okay.

Bottle. Clear brown-ruby color with white head. Aroma is chocolate, figs, roasted, nutty. Taste is peanut shell, earthy, sugar icing. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Aftertaste is a bit weird, but hard to describe. Good Dunkles, albeit very sweet.

Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. Piwo pieknie wyglada w kuflu metniste czerwono brazowe i piana sredniej wielkosci ale gesta srednio trwala. Smakowo jak typowy kellerbier, zborzowe nuty, chlebowa skorka, pumpernikiel. Fajne, nie nachalnie slodowe choc chmielu sie nie wyczuwalo bylo dobre.

Moderat herber, wenig malziger Antrunk. Dabei ist eine milde Süße vorhanden, wenig getreidig. Süffig, nett. 10/9/9/9//9

Lahev(@ Metro Feldherrnhalle): Deep ruby-amber coloured, stable mid-sized creamy off-white head with a good lace; sweetish toasty-roasty nutty traces, low bitterness, a certain fruitiness underneath; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and quite soft; slightly increasing bitterness towards the sweet toasty-malty finish. Very pleasant and well drinkable "diluted Dunkler Bock"…

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: my third beer of a Bavarian tasting session with myself at home on 9th Jan 2015. Poured into ’Schultheiss’ badged half-litre tall glass. Chestnut brown/red body, clean and clear, on top a beige, fast receding blanket of foam. Malty aroma and taste, semi-sweet with a bitter undertone. Nothing exciting, but a decent enough beer with enough going on to happily finish the bottle and maybe want another one.

Amber brown color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweetish, slightly caramel.
