On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice Belgian yeast expression, with crisp biscuity malt, and some gentle earthiness. Flavour is too estery, with candi sugar, Belgian yeast, and light floral notes. Too estery and floral, as are so many North American tripel attempts. This doesn't work too well.

Taster at brewery. Clear, medium gold, scant head. Belgian yeasty notes on the aroma, herbal. Taste brings some of the sweet buttery flavors. Almost there.

Dark gold with white head. Aroma was like laundry detergent. Not unpleasant malty taste but with a surprising thin finish.
