Dark golden with a white head - Good aroma of malts and hops - Malt with hints of caramel and a good hop profile with fruits and good bitterness - Hop bitterness goes into a dry finish - This was nice

Flaske 330ml fra Systembolaget, Kiruna. Mørk gylden. Høyt luftig skum som varer lenge. Litt lacing. God fruktaroma. Mest plommer. Smaken rikt fruktig. Fersken & plommer. Blir tørr & bitter etter hvert. Utmerket IPA.

Aug ’14. A 0.33 l bottle from Systembolaget, Upplands Väsby. It poured clear orange body with a small head. Really nice orange and elderflower hop aroma. Flavor was bitter, orange hop driven again with pleasant lightly sweet malt. Medium bodied with light biscuit sweetness and citrus dryness in the finish. Utterly simple but really good and pleasant IPA, offers exactly what is meant with the style. Reading other reviews, however, now makes me conclude it varies greatly somehow!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a smallish and dissipating white head. Odd aroma of boring, stale hops - but very faint. Also a strange tartness to the aroma. Medium body, again this tartness, some vague caramel and then a crude bitterness. Again totally lacking in aromatic qualities. Very disappointing indeed. 111114

33cl bottle from Systembolaget, Strömstad. Pours clear deep amber with an off-white head. Moderate hoppy aroma with noticable caramel, bitter herbs and some fruity notes. Fairly sweet with rather mild flavours and a slightly unbalanced bitterness in the finish. Reminds me more of a strong bitter than an IPA. Quite drinkable, but not that refreshing. To much on the sweet side for me and the bitterness seems a little harsh and unbalanced.

Clear amber. Off-white head. Moderate.aroma of dried berries, citrus and caramel. Taste is well-balanced with sweet malts and hops. Refreshing and good, although perhaps a bit bit malty for an IPA. Quite carbonated.
