The noble drink in the glass shines golden yellow with a very creamy, compact foam crown. The dominant but pleasantly pure bitter hop is played around by the sweet malt character. The strong, full-bodied body has aromas of sweet fruits and plums. A stimulating bitterness and a slight sharpness encourage drinking to continue in the finish. The right choice for the festive occasion.

Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts quite malty, fine spicy, background hoppy-dry. Finish modest sweet, still malty. Okay.

Klares goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher, geringer weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, getreidig, ansonsten unspektakulär. Geschmack kräftig malzig, etwas süß, getreidig.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with firm medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Strawy and slightly doughy malty aroma with shy hints of floral hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Strawy and mildly bready malt character with traces of flowery hops far in the background; sweet malty finish with a muted level of bitterness. Rather boring, like so many Festbeers. 06.XI.14
