Sadly, we are 505 years too late to quench the thirst of the Earl of Surrey's men, but had this zesty refreshing pale been available at camp in Barmoor, we would have an altogether different history.
Malts: Maris Otter & Golden Promise
Hops: Styrian Wolf, Chinook & Cascade

18/7/2019. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, light resin, malt and straw. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness nicely developing. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Warmed to this.

Draft at pigs Ear. Pale golden, small ring of head. Light grainy aroma, taste is much fuller, but it's the mouthfeel of this brew which sets it apart. Creamy, silky.
