Keg at the brewery. 8/21/24. New brewery! Brewery #2309, USA #1904. ID #8. Clear dark red, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of toffee, earth, caramel, tea. Taste is toffe, earth, caramel, tea. Well balanced.

Bottle from Smokes n Suds, Jan 2019. Pours a muddy reddish brown topped with a thin beige head. Sweet malty and pit fruit aroma, sweet overall. Tastes sweet with pit fruit and caramel. A little earthy and leather. Smooth and easy drinking.

On tap at Daft Badger, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel, bready malt, and some toffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with caramel, bready malt, and some dark red fruits. Heavy yet not really very deep. Caramely finish. Good stuff.

Taster at brewery. Dark brown, mahogany pour, collar of head. Peaty aroma, earthy. Taste is on target, tpbacco, peat, leather.

On tap at the brewery pours cola color topped with a tan head. Nose is nice big sweetness pit fruit some rich malts and candy sugar. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts pit fruit and some spice.
