Sample at brewpub. Dark brown pour, creamy brown head. Coffee and light chocolate aroma. Great coffee flavor, modest bitterness and lightly sweet. Excellent mouthfeel, spot-on for the style. Definitely would have this again.

Coffee and roast. Kind of a mess. Black pour with ok head. Doesn't hang together well at all. Perhaps partly unfermented. Leaves with a kind of cloying tang. Tap at Spokane Valley location.

On tap at the brewery pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is coffee peppers spice and sweet roast malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts coffee and some spice.

Taster at CdA taproom. Dark brown pour, small beige bubbly head. Roasty aroma and taste, coffee not very evident.
