Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated gently to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy to piney hops with a clean caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair and balanced hop to malts ratio of bittersweetness; finishes citrusy, piney and malty
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but also some hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nice as a TIPA, I could hang with this again if it's marketed as a West coast TIPA, but if I heard correctly they're trying to do this as a New England IPA, this would be a big nope on that style.

Pours dark, slightly hazed soda gold into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sharp and sweet with pineapple, oak and hot vanilla front to back. Lasting bourbon finish.

16 ounce can. Hazy yellow gold pour. Frothy white head. Sharp citrus. Soft and juicy. Easy drinking for a double IPA. I need to make an appointment.

Can (5/4/21) pour from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. It's a cloudy (fine particulate mist) dark yellow-light brown with nice sparkle, finger-width off white foamy head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong sweet-tart citrus (like the pink Smarties candy). Taste is strong florals, citrus, dank pine and caramel/Tootsie Roll backbone. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste with lingering moderate dry bitterness. Overall, can says New England style but I like the category that it's in. More flavor and less bitterness than full-on West Coast IPA's and weird to taste TWO candies in one beer. Good strength and nice complexity to the taste, especially for age. Over carbonated.

Fat San Francisco . Ljus nästan klar. Fruktig tydlig balanserad beska. Weast coast stil 100% både i look och smak. Riiigt bra sådan i MS stil.

16 oz from Tavour. Cloudy, darkish golden, skin of head. Musty, hoppy aroma. Taste really brings the hops, a bit dry and plenty bitter. Doesnt come off as strong, but a bit of late warmth.

bottom of the can is date stamped 1 February 2018. But the freshness of the Hops seem old I don't pick up any new england-style qualities at all kind of oxidized. It's just passable.
