Can from Tavour. Pours darkish, clear amber with a moderate foamy beige head. Aroma of citrus/pine over toffee. Med body. Creamy carbonation. Flavor is caramel/toffee - slightly dark - with lots of citrus/pine. Not entirely dry, but more than moderately bitter. It all works well together.

Taster at brewery. Bright, dark amber pour, small ring of head.Aroma is malty, as expected. Taste brings the hops, seemingly out of nowhere, sharp and citric. Still malty t the core, but with nice sharp bitterness. Interesting.

Draught. Pours red with white head. Aroma is citrus like an IPA. Body seems malt forward with a caramel and bread note.

Better than a standard ipa because of the caramel malts used, but too bitter for a red in my opinion. Nice for a hoppy red, which i usually dislike. Stormbreaker portland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle from Half Time. Murky, almost muddy reddish color. Thick and frothy tan head. Bread and earth, some citrus, caramel, and a little brown sugar. Smooth, a little sticky. Malty. Decent amount of dryness. Okay.

22 Oz bottle pour. Pours a copper red color with a sudsy head. Sweet caramel malt aroma with an obvious hop presence. Slightly dusty hop flavor with a sweet finish. Nor bad.

22 oz. bottle, pours a dark red with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out floral hops, earthy notes and toasted hazelnuts. Flavour is fairly hoppy, with floral hops, earthy notes and toasted malt. Pretty well-balanced with a dry floral and earthy finish. Solid amber, but not so interesting.

Keg at the brewpub, 08/11/14. Hazed reddish amber with a light beige covering. Nose is earthy hop, light mineral notes, bitter citrics, red grapefruit. Taste comprises candied fruit peel, bitter orange, biscuit malt, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness evident. Ok amber.
