Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit geringer weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, fruchtig, leicht gehopft. Geschmack süß malzig, getreidig, gar nicht hopfig, nicht gut!

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, greenish golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Grainy and delicately bready malty aroma with flowery and subtle citric hops. Moderately sweet and rather shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft, even a bit tame carbonation. Bready and grainy, slightly buttery malty taste with a tinge of floral hops in the background; sweet malt-accented finish with a restrained hops character. I did not expect such a mild Pils from Hamburg. 14.IX.14

0,33 l bottle. Optical review see rating before. Nothing more to say. Hop and grain on the nose. Starts typical for a northwest german Pils herb but with an own grainy taste, maybe straw. Later little bit sweetness and light bitter. Low carbonated. Better than expected.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellowish golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy aroma, subtle pale malt sweetness... that’s it. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, biscuity, a touch of sugar powder, a cautious floral yeasty touch, a good dosage of bitter hoppy overtones with lemon touch. Nice taste with nice subtleties; not outstanding, but increases the average quality of Hamburg beers.
