For 50 years, Mt. Hood Meadows has been getting folks down the slopes. In their honor, we offer this crisp and exhilarating IPA. Bright citrus carves through a forest of fresh bread and fruited pine, making any session on our home mountain a bluebird powder day. 6.8% ABV, 72 BU

Hazy blond color. Mild aroma of citrusy hops. Lean mouthfeel, quite dry, with mild crisp malt base; the hopping is bold, the hops have some citrus peel character.
Solid IPA.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Dark golden with a mild haze, small, lasting one finger creamy head. Bready malts dominate the aroma, taste keeps the maltiness and adds a slight bitterness. Some citrus too. Light sweetness.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is quite earthy in the hop department, with light herbal notes and dry biscuity malt. Not my favourite hop expression, but it works okay. Solid balance. Good stuff.
