22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out loads of caramel malt, resinous hops, tropical fruits, and residual sugar. Flavour is well-balanced between the hops and malt, with loads of resinous hops, pine, and caramel malt that doesn't cloy. Extremely well-balanced, with a big piney bitterness that lingers on and on. Great IIPA.

On draught at the brewhouse. Pours and orange-gold with off-white head. Aroma is of massive pine. Flavor is all hops with some nice citrus in addition to the pine. Nice bitterness, and the alcohol is well-hidden in this balanced DIPA.

Bottle purchased at City Beer. Pours with a murky golden body and a minimal white head that fades rather quickly. Aroma of orange, dirt, caramel, tea, marmalade. Orange peel. Seems malty. Flavors of bitter (really bitter), caramel, bread and tea. A little bit of orange. Hop flavor is mostly gone (if it was ever there). Out of balance, with no floral (aroma or flavor) qualities from the hops at all. Lingering bitterness. Light bubbles. Not very good at all.

Draft, The Bistro, DIPA Festival. Well, I hate to be a wet blanket, but I didnβt much like this one. There was a very odd off note, almost a playdough or rubber taste. Otherwise, it seemed like a decent DIPA. Fairly good and hoppy nose with a lasting bitter aftertaste. I hope that I didnβt get a pour from a dirty pitcher or something, but everything seemed alright. Iβll make sure to retry this beer if I get the chance.

Tap at Bistro DIPA festival. Dark amber color with a creamy off-white head. Nice citrus/pine aromas. Wonderful hoppy flavor over malt. Finish is a bit indescribable - not bad - just different. Overall a great ale.
