On tap at loyal legion Portland pours out a amber copper color topped with a sand head. Nose is sweet cherries some big rich sweet malts. Taste is more of the sweet malts cherry syrup notes.

Taster at Loyal Legion. Dark amber with small skin of head. Sweetish aroma, cheery cough syrup. Taste is more of the cherries, not enough of the spruce. Sharp hoppy bitterness too.

On tap at GABF 16’. Pours a hazy amber with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, earth, strong spruce. Medium body, grass, spruce, citrus, light finish, very good.

Sample at The Bier Stein. Brownish-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Malt, fruit and a bit of pine in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, mild citrusy hops and spruce. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
