Bottle: Literally black, big and stable tanned head, moderate dry fruity and toast/ashy nose with traces of cacao; moderate to robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, but unfortunately not overly soft; lingering dryish bitter finish, presenting roasted malt, dried fruits and chocolatey traces, increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Thuis uit een flesje. Zwart, bruin schuim, mooi. Pittige smaak door de goede bitterheid, geroosterde (verbrande) koffiebonen. Prima.

Definitely a dry version, also quite bitter for the style and lowish abv. However it has enough flavour and burnt toast type of roast to back it up and just barely keep it balanced. online saveaur bier

Deep dark brown colour with a red hue, tall frothy tan head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, coffee, cocoa. Smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, coffee, chocolate, some caramel, grainy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, burnt caramel, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Well-made, very nice, easy to drink.

Optisch typisch Stout, pechschwarz. In der Nase deutlich Kaffee, im Trunk herrlich cremig, Kaffee, dann richtig schön die Zartbitterschokolade, leichte Süße, milchig, leicht bitter, süffig, geil.

Bottle, shared with Andrew. Black body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate and coffee grounds. Flavour of ash, steel and dark chocolate. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Simple and dry.

Appearance is nearly black, with a 1-2 finger beige head. Aroma- coffee and chocolate, caramel, toasty malt, roast malt runs through. Taste- roast malt, chocolate, toffee, milk chocolate, wafer, caramel biscuit, bitter but with some chocolatey sweetness.
