Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, medium sized quite quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, dark malts, some coffee notes (yum!) and nicely malt bitter. Body is decent, carbonation is medium to firm, a bit fizzy. Just within limits I'd say, before becoming annoying. Quite like it.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 27 July. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of hops and grain. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of yeast and malt and touches of hops and oats. Bitter, dry and estery aftertaste with malty hints. Decent.

27/7/2018. Bottle shared at John's. Pours dark ruby brown with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, caramel, malt, dark fruit and hint of berry. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Dry, toasty finish. Ok apart from carbonation.

Pours virtually black from the bottle. A foamy tan head fades fairly rapidly. Aroma is full of roasted grains, toast, coffee. Taste is more bitter than I expect from an oatmeal stout, and lacks the mildly sweet oatmeal undertones that I would expect. Instead a note of burnt roasted grain dominates the proceedings, accompanied by minerals and coffee. Body is medium with a carbonation that is more prickly than I would like. Interesting, but reminds me of a porter rather than an oatmeal stout.
