Boardman brewery/taproom Clear deep golden/orange pour Thin fine wispy white head. Subtl resinous hop aroma Some toasted malts in teh flavor. Hop pineyness is subdued. Not a lot here. Perhpas it hs faded form an older batch. Mellow and smooth though. Just a bit plain.

Draught. Reddish pour with white head. Much lacing. Aroma is hoppier than an English IPA. Hop flavour, West coast style. An English malt edge. This is a hybrid.

Taster at Tandem taproom. Color changes from medium gold at the bottom to a medium amber near the top, capped with a nice creamy head. Light bready, malty aroma. Taste features a more robust maltiness, some nice citrusy notes, and a sustained gentle bitterness through, orange peel. This fits with the malty ales I had in that part of OR-WA. Smooth and creamy.

22 oz bottle poured. Bottled 8/17/2016. Picked up in Oregon probably about a day before Ordnance began to show up in Seattle. Always happens. Copper orange pour with a large bubble head. Malt forward aroma with a bitter hop constant. Flavor is on the dry side, straw grains paired with a modest sweet caramel malt, and a hop content that leaves very little impression. Still, a tasty IPA here, and far from typical, which is nice. Pretty good stuff.
