Bottle, a takeaway from GBBF. Aroma of banana, spice and something treacle-like. Hazy dark brown. Thick foamy off-white head. Surprisingly underpowered. Sweet and sour with a bitter edge. Banana and herbs and sour cream. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long if muted finish. Drinkable. It is restrained but I suppose this is better than being overly sweet or such like. But on the bland side.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into weizen glass in Nuremberg near the beautiful fountain. Cloudy medium brown, suspended yeast, and with big white head. Aroma is banana, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is banana, yeasty, some chocolate, and some clove.

Medium dark brown color. Off white head. The nose Is completely dominated by a sweet, estry, bananas character. Don’t pick up any of the Dunkel character. Nice mouth with good cloves and bananas with just faint hints of chocolate in the background. Smooth and very drinkable. Decent atuff

Bottle. Pours dark brown-copper with beige head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, banana, citrus. Flavor is sweet, very wheaty, caramel, malt, banana. Finish is sweet. Overall: very good.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is bananas, caramel, cream, chocolate, estery. Taste is bananas, cream, chocolate. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Solid Dunkelweizen! 7-4-7-3-14Bottle, some floatees. Very nicely balanced, super creamy, not too much chocolate, all the sweet banana goodness. Great stuff! 8-3-8-4-16

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Hazy unclear reddish brownish color, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, lightly banana, a hint of smoke and some sweetness. Decent body and soft carbonation. Definitely decent.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy amber colour with a small, creamy beige head. Smells banana, slightly farty, wheat. Tastes banana, wheat, watery, sweet, slightly smokey. Thin body, soft carbo.

Bottle from Mein Bier.de Dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of banana, some citrus, spices. Very drinkable. Medium carbonation. The best Dunkelweizen I ever tasted.

500 ml bottle served in Weißbier glass. Pours cloud dark brown with Weißbier typical head. Raisin, some caramel, roasted malt, bread and yeast. Yeasty, malty, slightly bitter-sweet. Soft carbonated. A bit watery texture, but nice palate though. Süffig. Although I am not the biggest fan of Dunkelweizen beers, this is quite good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
