500 ml bottle, 6.9% abv. Pours cloudy allmost hazy chocolate brown with a big fluffy head. Caramel, citrus, overripe banana, chocolate, bitter almond, yeasty estery notes. Malty sweetness, dry bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry finish. A very nice complex and drinkable Dunkler Weizenbock! Surprisingly smooth.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice small head. Starts fine malty-roasty, modest roasty. Light sweetish notes, also some hints of caramel. Well balanced finish. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle. Fantastic smooth malty nose. The beer starts mild and smooth with roasted hints. Nice banana spiced yeast in the back, the dark body is round and smooth. Great combination of dark malt and spicy banana yeast. Fantastic deep, great yeasty complexity with dark dry and slightly roasted malts on top. Great stuff!

From bottle at BKL 2018.
Dark copper-brown body, with a medium, fluffy, beige head.
Aroma of marzipan, banana cake, ripe fruits, dried fruits, caramel, bread, subtle spices.
Tastes of wheat, banana, clove, dark bread, cocoa, caramel, some dried fruits, some honey.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes a bit soft, a bit toasty, moderate sweet, yeasty, a bit spicy, with cocoa, slight honey.
Nice one. Quite typical Weizenbock, with a bit more dark malt notes. Smooth and well balanced. Not an outstanding style example, but very solid.
