In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, we forge barley malt and hops from Germany, aromatic raw sugar from Mauritius and yeast from Belgium into our latest beer, Brooklyn Local 1. Behind the full golden color you'll find an alluring aroma, a dynamic complex of flavors. Belgian flair, Brooklyn fortitude and a dusting of our special yeast. To create this beer, we use the old technique of 100% bottle re-fermentation, a practice now rare even in Europe. It gives this beer a palate of unusual depth. Enjoy it locally or globally, as an aperitif or with your favorite dishes. It is particularly nice with spicy seafood and with fine cheeses.

Bottle. Pours a bright gold with a fair amout of head and a lot of carbonation. Lots of uniform lacing. Aroma is some grass and yeast. Taste is rich, malty and fruity w/some spicy aftertastes. Good stuff.

750ml bottle.
pours a bright gold color, great thick white head. Aroma is quite fruity, and slightly peppery, and spicy, with little notes of yeast, and hops. Flavour is again, very fruity, with a nice hop punch. Finish is quite dry, and bitter. very nice belgian. A good take on a classic style.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Although it had a certain sophistication to it, the Belgian Yeast doesn't really come through at all. High carb.

Bomber, pours clear golden with huge thick white head. Medium body. Banana and yeast aroma. Malty fruity taste with peppery alcohol finish.

3rd LCRBM. Blonde. Vanilla and flowery hops in the aroma. Cardemom, citrus and malt in the flavor. Rather alcoholic brew, that is really decent, but not great.

Drukket på Bergstua. Champagnekork. Åpner med smell & røyk. Gyldengul. Høyt skum som daler passe raskt. Nesten klar. Krydderaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken søt. Tørket frukt. Krydder. Karamell. Innholdsrik. Tørr - lett alkoholisk - avslutning.

Bottle 75cl. Golden, hazy with a large frothy white head. Fruit, yeast and banana aroma. Light bitter with a fruit and banana end.
