Named for the black Basalt so prevalent throughout the Magic Valley, this is a nice dark, full bodied beer with a creamy head and nice roast coffee flavors, a little bit of residual sweetness in this stout will leave a film on the glass, and you wanting more.

On tap. Very dark brown with a big foamy light tan head. Full chocolatey softbroast aromas and flavors. Butters up a bit at the end. Smooth creamy feel. Dark roast bite at the end. Quite god actually

Grunt fill from brewery. Near black pour with small skin of tan head.Mild bitter aroma of roast grains and coffee. Taste brings in some sweetness, chocolate, bitterness stays in the back and lingers for a while. Starts slow and gains some momentum as it goes.
