Draft at brewery. Clear, pale golden with small foamy head. Grainy notes dominate the aroma and taste, a bit of hops crispness, but not quite enough. Decent pils, but not enough oomph to raise it to the next level.

Tap at Bend Brewing, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, citrus. Taste comprises lemon, touch of caramel, pale malt, grass, light cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and dry in the finish. A decent pils, refreshing on the beer patio and good to break up the stronger beers on the tasting flight.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear yellow color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and grain. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly bitter herbal hops and bready malt. The finish is short with a lightly hopped aftertaste. Pretty average overall.
