On tap at bitter Creek boise. Pours out a golden copper topped with a sand head. Nose is pine juniper some oak notes and a floral note. Taste is more of the juniper notes pine hops the ginger barrel hit is pretty nice.

Growler fill at Albertsons. Hazy dull orange and copper colored pour with an inch of creamy beige head. Aroma is characteristic of the base Dagger, sweet and hoppy. A little more floral. Taste is heavy hop bitters, lots of florals and barrel influence before some malty sweetness in the end. Gin barrel really works with this beer, it’s very good.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Dark amber, hazy, thick, fluffy head. Aroma seems normal for the style, bitterness comes through in spades. Taste ramps this up a bit, and the gin botanicals add nice character to the hops, making this a real bitter drink, but pretty damn tasty, too. Gin barrels work exceptionally well with this beer, complimenting it every step of the way.
