A Jamaican Jerk style ale...crafted with Hefeweizen yeast to add the banana notes in harmony with the spices. (Based off our cousin's Jamaican jerk sauce recipe.) Made in collaboration with Old Chicago Boise for Alefort 2017.

Draft at Alefort. German weizens don’t use (or need) peppers. Call it a wheat ale. Pepper heat obscures pretty much everything else. Nice experiment, but no thanks...

On tap at alefort. Pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is light wheat some spice and grain. Taste is more of the nice spice and little heat and a light grain note.
