8.5oz bottle at the DC Spring RB Tasting. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was sweet, perhaps a bit too sweet, but there was a few years of age on it so it's a bit understandable. Chocolate, light roast. Chocolate, humidor. A touch boozy still.

Many thanks to Kappldav123 for sharing!. Fantastic dark and thick beginning. Lots of boozy alcohol there with a dark and dry heavy beer behind. Plums, raisins, dark caramelly dried fruit. Very dry with lots of burning alcohol. Long intense deep boozy finish. Nice.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Heavy malty aroma. Starts very strong malty with intense coffee notes. Bitter black coffee. Woody-dry background. Finish strong, warming malty. Impressive beer!

Svart med minimalt beige skum. Lukter noe våt kjeller, salt lakris og mørk sjokolade. Fyldig. Smaker salt lakris, mørk sjokolade, svisker og noe bitter kaffe. Lang

Old rating rerated 03.03.2018, 0,5l bottle (#12335) sampled @ Ngne backroom tasting during NRBG:
No head, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly dry dusty, weeds, dusty cellar, alcohol, paper, minerals, bark, dark malts, dark sugar, harsh coffee, soil. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, dark sugar, minerals, alcohol, weeds, dark malts, paper, bark, soil, dusty cellar, toast, burnt coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly and boozy mouthfeel. Way over the top I guess. Or at least at a bad place in development at the moment...

Sampled at BKL2018 from bottle. Strongly oxidized roast nose Black, low head. Full body, thick, viscous in a nice way, light sparkly. Chocolate mousse with a booze surprise, oxidized in the finish, still good though. Chewy chocolate mousse finish. Great despite its obvious age.

Bottle. Pitch black color with tan head. Aroma is old cellar, chocolate, molasses, intensely oily. Taste is old cellar, motor oil, Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very good, but the wet cellar flavours are a bit irritating...
