50cl bottle @ ISKTR 2017. Bottle #05203. Thanks Euphemos! Poured pitch black with almost no head. Roastedness, wood, tobacco notes and licorice. Flavor mostly licorice, wood, salty notes and tobacco. Boozy finish. Past its prime. Still nice to try this.

Herlig kraftig avslutning. Ønsker meg en til...

Bottle shared at a tasting. Thanks Jonno. This bottle is 8 to 9 years old. Lots of booze and dark fruit in the nose: plum, raisin, prune, cassis. Lots of deep, rich flavors of wood and booze in the nose as it warms. Body has thinned out, with very little carbonation but wow, what a nice aged beer. More booze and fruit in the mouth with a long lasting and coating finish. Fantastic. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dark Horizon 2nd Edition on 30 Jan 2016 at 23:21 - Score: 8. Wow! Pours dark brown and with very little head. Well, this boy is around 9 years old. Nose is really hitting you with booze and all those barrel aged dark fruits and molasses. Taste is aggressively boozy, full of flavours, dark fruits soaked in some liquor. Flavours have still been preserved after the ageing and come out clear and shining. Body has become thinner but overall totally amazing.

Bottle courtesy of Camons. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 011115
