Clear, deep golden colored, medium white frothy head, nice lacing and long lasting. Aroma is of malt, caramel, rye, bit spicy, fruity and citrus moderate hops. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, caramel, some rye and spicy notes, moderate fruity and citrusy hops and medium bitterness, dryish and bit bready finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Since rye doesn’t do anything for me, I’d go for the BDay-IPA! (bottle, Magic Beer Room, Zagreb)

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours hazy copper body with one finger white head. Poor retention, ok lacing. Pleasant nose, good hop character with herbal backbone. Slight honey notes as well. Medium body, softly carbonated. Smooth in the tongue, thick and oily texture. Refreshingly bitter taste with mild lingering sweetness. Aroma is hoppy, herbal. Honey notes. Slight caramel. A bit peppery. Sticky mouthfeel. Touch of liquor in the aftertaste. Finish is moderately bitter and slightly dry. Overall, good one. Nicely balanced beer, personally I’d prefer a bit more bitterness.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Clear dark golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, sweetish malty nose. Sweet malty, mild rye, some herbal hops and citrusy notes. Mild bitterness and light alcohol in the finish and aftertaste.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Clear dark golden, small off-white head. Light to moderately hopped, malted rye, estery. Light bitter, light tangerine. Light to medium body, smooth texture, soft to medium carbonation, moderate to lasting hoppy finish. Tasty and drinkable, but not spectacular. Could use more hop profile.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Pours orange, white head. Rye in nose, malty, hoppy, citrus, bit herbal, sweetish in the middle. Medium bodied. Some bitterness in finish. Somehow not impressed, lacking in aroma and flavor, preferred the regular IPA.

On tap at Craft Room. Clear old gold body, white head. The aroma is initially slightly disappointing, on the sweeter, maltier side, but later tangerine notes pop up more. The taste initially slaps the creamy sweetness with mild rye notes up put the hops come into play soon enough, herbal, lemony, tangerine notes, herbal, even slightly dank, but subdued, and yet somehow well integrated with the silky maltiness. Light bitterness. This surprisingly enough works in fine harmony before a dry finish with mild bitterness. Not earth shattering but very drinkable and quite nice.
