Vienna-Style Amber Lager. "When Doves Cry" is a song by American musician Prince, and the lead single from his 1984 album Purple Rain. Amber in color with a very smooth and delicious profile. Malty in character with a supportive hop character. Prost! Grains: Pilsner, Vienna, Munich and Specialty Malts. Hops: Northern Brewer and Hallertau Notes: Fresh Baked Bread, Toast, hint of caramel.

Draft at brewery. Nice looking pour, medium amber and tons of lacing. Mellow, understated aroma, taste doesn’t quite capture the caramelly malts. A bit at the back, but too late.
