Draft at Powderhaus. Pours a dark brown color with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is roasty and semi-sweet, dark chocolate and espresso. Taste is heavily of roasted malt and dark chocolate, mostly sweet and just a hint of bitters. Lots of roast and just a little coffee.

Draft at brewery. Nice looking pour, dark brown , thin head, lots of lacing. Mild nutty, roasty aroma. Taste brings more bitterness, but some out of place sweet/ tangy flavor too. Kind of spoils it. Started out nice.

On tap at powderhaus brewing garden city. pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. nose is light roast some light coffee and some od note. Taste is more of the roast some coffee and pretty thin.

On tap at the BP opening night. Dark smooth and plenty roasty . Not a lot of character or complexity but solid and easy. Excited tones what they come out with later.
