Bottle. Dark brown, beige head. Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee notes. For an imperial stout, quite a bit underwhelming.

Bomber from Winco. Near black pour with small beige head. Aroma is normal roast grains with faint elements of chocolate. Taste also features the roast grains, admit should, pretty sharp bitterness. On target for the style.

On tap at powderhaus brewing. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts light ash some coffee and black licorice. Taste is more of the roast malts some light smoke black licorice molasses and some berries.

Bottle thanks to Toby. Pours a pitch black color with a medium brown head. A big chocolate and spicy nose. Sharp spicy flavors, dry, anise, chocolate. Very dry cocoa. The beer isn’t bad, it’s just really sharp, bitter dark chocolate and head. But OK. Just a bit raw.

On Tap at the brewery. Black with only a trace of hean/lacing. Dry roasty and while the high ABV brought it up a notch, it just seemed thin and simple. Nothing off, just plain.
