Draught at Salon Piva, Bratislava, shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, brown head.
Aroma of espresso, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, toffee, some dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, but a bit lighter.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium bitter, toasty, wooden, with coffee, cocoa, some liquorice.

Nice one. Straight and well balanced, with nice coffee and cocoa notes throughout. The taste doesn’t keep up with the really lovely nose though. Still a quaffable Stout how I like it.

Tap at Salon piva. Quite classic stout, assertive roasty/coffee character comes cleanly through a full body of background residual sugars. The final balance is dry, roasty, but very moreish. Great beer.

thnx to Gene. Pours black, OK , bit darker head. Smell is rich, sweet, some coffee, dark malts, some cocoa notes. Taste is full, rather bitter, ashy burnt malts, no real cocoa here, and only very mild coffee notes. Just very ashy, which is a nice character to me , than you don’t see overly often.

Boca 0,33L - pomalo kremast, kao da se osjeti nekakav mliječni okus, prilično dobar stout!!!

On tap at Hop In, Zagreb. Pours black with tan creamy head. Roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa, burnt notes. Sweetish with bitter finish. Medium bodied. First batch(es) were not as good, but the the tweaked ones which I’ve tried afterwards were noticeably better.

Pours black colour with small, off-white head. Smell is a bit sour, slight veggies detected, a bit smokey. Medium body with soft carbonation. Taste is surprisingly sour. Aftertaste lightly bitter and slightly smoked. Aroma of licorice, sour cherry, caramel, alcohol, smoke and roasted malts. Overall, it’s a bit different then your avarage stout due to the sourness. It’s really up to the individual taste with this one, personally I prefer the stout to be more, well, robust. However, maybe it’s due to expiry date which is, well, today... So I’ll probably re-rate once I drink it again.

Jun. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured a hazy dark brown body with short living, small brown head. Coffee, roasted chocolate and an interesting note of sourish olives, especially at the beginning, until it opened up. Didn’t bother anyway. Flavor was lightly sweet, roasty with also light bitterness coming from it. Chocolate, cocoa, a touch of licorice while some lactic notes smoothed the palate. Medium to thin in body with medium finish, roasty with possible herbal hops. Expected more from this one, although I really liked the elegant chocolate notes.
