On tap at the brewery dark hazy brown with a thin fine and persistent tan head Woody light roasted aromas and flavors. Decent bitterness. Strong for an amber. Strange earthy bitter bite at the end.

Growler fill from brewery. Pours out kind of flat, but gets better, much better. Nutty, roasty aroma, closing in on brown ale. Dee brown in color with small head, but still leaves sheets of lacing. The fresh hops kick the taste up a notch, pleasant bitterness on top of the rich malty body. Bitterness lingers on the palate. Amber on steroids. Well done!
