22oz bomber shared by Anndiesel. Deep brown-black body, steady beige head. Heavy on the roast, light on the hops. This really does come off as more of a Stout than an Black IPA. Medium to full bodied, not too overbearing. An OK beer, not really that stupendous for the style though.

Bottle from Albertsons. Almost black body with small creamy beige head. Mild aroma recalls bitterness, although hard to discern between roast malts and hops. Taste follows this pattern, getting porter notes here and hoppy notes there. But it shouldn’t be this difficult. Kind of confusing....
