Traditional German Bock's are typically brewed in the winter time and some believe it was only brewed during the sign of the Capricorn goat. Our version is brewed to style. It was lagered for six weeks producing a very smooth and easy to drink beer even though it is 7% ABV. Malt forward with a toasty and nutty flavor and aroma with just a hint of cocoa. The Noble German hops are only there to provide balance to the rich malt character without providing any hop aroma or flavor. This brew pours a ruby brown color with medium body.

Growler from the brewery. This could be Dark Daisy’s little sister. Chocolaty malts dominate, but still enough of the roast grain characters and sweet malts to be true to the German style. Dark brown pour with airy beige head. Sweet finish which slowly turns bitter on the tongue. Bitter sweet, I guess....
