On tap at boise brewing. Pours out a muddy brown topped with a small head. Nose is lots of spice plenty sweetness cardamom and some licorice. Taste is more of the spice cardamom plenty sweetness malts and a odd end.

On tap at the Boise Brewery Dark redish brown with just a hint of a brief head and thin ring. Slightly sweet nutty maltiness.

CSB Grunt from the brewery. I know this didn’t turn out as planned, but its not a total loss. Halfway to a Belgian dubbel, slick, slippery thick dark brown body yields a host of pit fruit aromas, molasses notes and a hint of spice. Taste follows with above flavors finishing with a ton of malt sweetness. Not too bad.
