Finally got a chance to try this. On tap at the brewery this edition is listed at 6.8% and is on nitro. Very dark brown and a full dense creamy light tan head. Very nice moderate roast and chocolatey flavors and aromas. Nowhere near a Russian Imperial however. The maltiness is slightly sweet this could even be a "milk stout" . Nice toasty bitterness at the end and a lovely smooth nitro palette. Very good...but noting "imperial" about it.

On tap at Black Friday. A bit tame next to all of the Imperials, but also a refreshing break. Decent all around stout, only knock is a thin body.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a brownish red topped with a tan head. Nose is roast black liq and some hop notes. Taste is as the nose with malts of roast and malt. Pretty thin almost porter like.
