On tap at the brewery. Pours clear dark golden with no head or lacing. Toffee, malty, candy, resin. Ok

On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Clear golden light brown. Thin wispy off white head and spotty lacing. .Classic toasted malt aroma. Dry clean light malty flavors. Crisp finish. Firm hop bite. A nice bold example of a style I don't typically love.

Bottle from On the Fly Gasmart. Pours out copper with an instant airy, foamy head. Malty aroma, picking up some fruity tastes, not too out of place. Flat, dull finish.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a copper topped with a tan head. Nose is light roast strawberry wheat and a touch of grass. Taste is more of the sweetness strawberries some malt and a odd end.

Tap @ BP. Copper orange in color, topped with a thin sandy head. Nose is mild and on the sweeter side. Definitely on the sweeter side, seemingly a theme today for the samples I enjoyed. Not nearly as malty or bready as many in the Marzen style. Hits me with a little citrus and caramel malts… seems a little more like a Vienna than anything. Not bad though.
