2011 Bomber from Ross (bronze wax much like the color of the brew). Nose reminds me of a between hoppy Bigfoot and Abacus. Nose is toffee, raisins, and hints of citrus-floral hops. Murky copper brown with a medium tan head. Flavor is bitterness, toffee, and a slight sweet raisin note. Finishes lightly bitter.

Big thanks to SuperDave for sharing this. I didn’t even know this beer existed. Wow! Pours clear copper with amber core and tan head. The aroma offers up some roasted malts, apricot skins, some cherries, malts and raisins. The taste is a little on the rough side with malts, a bit of roasted malts and then pine hops, raisins, apricots and then pretty bold spicy hop like black licorice heading into the finish. Nice hoppy brew but a bit young and rough right now.

Bottle: Dark amber pour with a creamy beige head. Not much in the nose apart from citrus and floral hops with a little hint of sweetness. Nice rich presence of malts, caramel and chocolate, with a lingering floral hoppiness. Drinkable now and potential to age...
