On tap at Sockeye Pub & Grill, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light dry hopping and bone dry biscuity malt. Flavour is mellow, with floral dry hopping and bone dry biscuity malt. A little astringent and not much going on here. Meh.

Can to glass, pours a pure golden color with a moderate white head. Nose of fruity hops and light florals, carries through into the taste. Lightly sweet, but sharp hops presence. First rate session brew.

I I understand the session IPA concept, but feel they are almost indistinguishable from pale ales, in a lot of cases. This one is no exception, lots of gentle bitterness, and a much lighter body (weight and color) than their flagship IPA. Tasty, refreshing and crisp. I’d need to line this up with their IPA and APA to note the differences.

On Tap (Cask) hazy dingy yelllow with a smooth very fine creamy off white head. Pale malts and lots of pithy hop aroma and flavor. Musty cask notes and a very soft carbonation. Definitey sessionable and still tons of hoppiness.
