On tap at woodland empire boise. pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a small head. nose is big sweetness pit fruit and roast malts. taste is more of the heavy pit fruit sweetness and the roast.

Nice mix between the two styles, aromas and tastes beautifully blended. Dark and heady, fruity and roast grains. Awesome concept, wonderfully executed.

On Tap at teh boise tasting room. Black with a thin skin of frothy web like lacing. I must say a bit strange aroma and flavors. Sweet and malty, the Belgian character is largely diminished and the stout is faded and mellow. A little grape jelly, alittle tootsie pop and an earthy malty body. Pleasant, just strange.
