Draught at the brewery in Hood River
The color is almost black. Roasted malts, fairly dry, the oatmeal is not necessarily evident. The final is a bit ashy.

Pours almost black with a small beige head, some lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, rich chocolate and caramel. Smooth mouthfeel of dark malts, chocolate, roasted coffee, caramel with a mild bitterness in the finish
Nice and easy drinking, full flavored

Smooth, slick, velvety body, nice silky beige head. Pleasant chocolate, roast malt aroma. Taste brings in lots more roast malt bitterness, lingering dry semi sweet chocolate finish. All around great stout.

Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark brown with a creamy dark tan head. Aromas of chocolate and smoothly burnt malt. Med body. At least. Flavor is chocolate, hint of coffee, some treacle, but there’s a sharp bitter note suggesting fruity hops, or earthy, or herb? Something like those. It’s sort of crisp, has malt sweetness, but going towards dry. Despite that. It’s very "fresh". Drinks nicely.

22oz bottle pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts chocolate coffee and floral leafy hops. Taste is as the nose with a nice oat touch and good dark roast malts.
