Lance designed this brew to pair well with pretty much everything that a traditional Thanksgiving dinner has to offer. From the turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes to the pumpkin pie this ale enhances and melds with the flavors of the feast. Not to say this brew should not be enjoyed on it's own merits. It is most comparable to a Brown ale, nice and toasty with an earthy hop backbone. Clocking in at just under 6%, a couple of pints plus a heavy dose of carbohydrates and tryptophan equates to a blissful post-feast nap.

On Tap at the Boise BP Hazy deep copper color with a soapy light tan head. Light toasted malt flavors. Bitter but not hoppy. A touch of fall spice and some notes of cereal and maybe a little rye.

Growler fill from the brewery. Brown ale with a hint of pumpkin pie spice on top of a nice malt backbone. Initial pour yields a high, foamy head. Murky orange copper body, spicy nutty aroma. Taste is sweet, spicy and bitter all at the same time. Bitter finish. Nice harvest beer without going overboard on the pumpkin pie flavors.
