Extra marks for a perfect appearance, beautiful orange copper color with towering rocky lasting head. Soft citrus / grapefruit aroma, more citrus in the taste, plus some pine/hops, a hint of toffee. Mellow lingering bitterness on the finish. A nice IPA, without going overboard on the bitterness.

A tall, sticky white head floats above this clear gold colored beer. Fresh grapefruit and pine resin hop aroma. The flavor is bitter on the front end fading to a nice long dry finish. Not overdone. Good and solid single hop IPA.

The appearance had a transparent golden amber colored body with a one fingered white foamy head that dies within about a half minute, light somewhat sporadic lacing tries to cling but slides a bit as well.
The smell seems like its bitter for the sake of being bitter as the hops that do end up presenting themselves seem caramel covered. Yes, I will say \"caramel flavored hops\" is what I’m getting and I’m not exactly sure how I feel about that, there is some light citrus on the back end as it warms a bit.
The taste, once again, its bitter for the sake of being bitter with a caramel malt flavoring trying to enter in, but kinda comes across in a somewhat bland way; no aftertaste but I do get a watery finish.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium - actually closer to a lighter body to be honest. Carbonation presents itself not that harsh at all (hmmm...I do see this is a fairly newer beer on BA, but if this is fresh, its not presenting too many good AIPA characteristics), somewhat sessionable.
Overall, in my opinion, I would say there’s better AIPA’s out there. Sorry No-Li, I doubt if I would come back to this.

On tap. Pours a mahogany color with moderate head. Malty brown sugar aromas. Flavors of toasted malts, candied fruit, light toffee and grassy pine. Smooth. Great.

Draught at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar (Waterfront), Vancouver
Hazy golden color with small compact head. Fruity hop aroma, mild and fresh. Smooth mouthfeel; the malt flavor has a well defined toffee accent with Earl Grey tea (bergamot and tea); expected bitterness level. The final is a bit more resiny than fruity, it’s also biscuity.
Balanced, clean, well brewed, straight forward; just the IPA you need.

Bomber from a grocery store. Pours a clear slightly dark copper color with a large white head. A sweet biscuty nose, lemons, oranges. The flavor is more sweet lemons, medium bitterness, herbal tea, some sweet resinous hops, a pretty true profile of Amarillo. A bit earthy and dry at times, which distracts a bit. Good overall. Was about 5$,

Bomber bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Aroma is doughy, lemon rind, candy sweetness. Pours hazy golden with a large cream colored head with excellent retention, leaving lace. Although the aroma is kind of lackluster, the taste is fantastic. It’s candy sweet with backing bitterness. Citrus, tropical fruit and piney flavors. Creamy mouthfeel, fine carbonation, medium body. Great IPA. Makes me appreciate the Amarillo hop more.
