On tap at the brewery pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate sweetness some toast malts and coconut. Taste is more of the nice sweet notes a little ash and a touch of coconut.

Taster at the Nampa brewery nice smooth porter. Mildly hoped and the coconut is subtle and complimentary good

Coconut hides in the background, and compliments the general nuttiness of this beer, while softening it a tad with some subtle sweetness. Aroma is pure porter, while taste is a bit bolder, although in addition to the mild sweet flavor, there’s some soapiness also. Still trying to figure this one out.
