Owyhee Amber Ale is an easy drinking, amber beer for the masses. Brewed with 2-row barley, Munich, and crystal malts, this amber beer is a cleaner, crisper version of an ale reminiscent of an amber lager beer. Owyhee Amber is a true session beer as refreshing as a breath of air in the vast mountain range that it was named after.

Decent amber ale. Cloudy amber with small creamy beige head, streaky lacing. Full, rich malty aroma, more malt in the taste, caramel with a small dry finish. Solid amber

Bomber pours deep copper with gold edges and light tan head. The aroma is modest in strength and offers up roasted malts and a bit of sweet nuttiness. The taste follows suit with a good load of malt sweetness and malt nuttiness as well as a thin layer of roasted malts. Well off in the background I get murmurs of earthiness and spicy hops too. The beer seems to be at odds with itself. Kind of muddled.

Tasting at Papsø
Amber color; creamy head. The aroma is light, some caramel, hops, dust. Caramel flavor, dry, with a strange floral touch (pleasant) and some dusty roasted malts (less pleasant). Correct bitterness. Simple.

Pours with a small, off-white head over a hazy light amber body. Some lace. Aroma of light manure, light hops, grain, cereal, and caramel. Taste is caramel, lightly fruity with citrus hops, and toast. A bit fizzy and water like on the tongue.
