When we first started brewing IPAs, they were considered an extreme style, only for hardcore beer nerds. (Like, say, us.) Today, they're the most popular style in craft beer and continuing to grow. We're proud of our role in fueling that revolution and thrilled with how the style has evolved over the years. Stone Hazy IPA comes in at an easy 6.7% and less bitter than our other IPAs, but still blooming with bold hop flavors. El Dorado and Azacca hops showcase a myriad of citrus and fruit elements while intense Sabro highlights the tropical notes of this beer. No fruit added, yet intensely juicy. The result of this unique hop combination is a creamy citrus bomb with tons of orange, lemon, melon, mango and pineapple flavors and aromas.

On tap at Bishops Arms Vasagatan. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. A bit creamy with tangerine, citrus, mango and notes of herbs. Low bitterness.

My 12 oz bottle of Hazy IPA was put up on 10/25/21 and I purchased it about a month and a half later at a local supermarket. My glass of choice is a snifter and I proceed with the pour. I see a hazy (!) pale yellow body finished by a skim of almost white foam. The scent is composed mostly of grapefruit and pineapple, no surprise and no disappointment. The taste is a bit more complicated and that is somewhat good. A large input of pine, lemon, turpentine, just a hint of pineapple and perhaps some orange. Fairly bitter against your average NE style IPA. Okay as they generally are in the style, no breakout.

Bottle at the DC post-Thanksgiving 2021 gathering. Poured a light hazy yellow color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma was light melon, peaches. Touch of floral hop notes. Some mild fruity hops. Pleasant, though kind of boring and not overly hazy, given the name.

Hazy dull yellow colour with thin fizzy head. Fairly sweet. Too sweet perhaps. Tropical fruit mix. Finish has a weird, creamy feel.
