When we first started brewing IPAs, they were considered an extreme style, only for hardcore beer nerds. (Like, say, us.) Today, they're the most popular style in craft beer and continuing to grow. We're proud of our role in fueling that revolution and thrilled with how the style has evolved over the years. Stone Hazy IPA comes in at an easy 6.7% and less bitter than our other IPAs, but still blooming with bold hop flavors. El Dorado and Azacca hops showcase a myriad of citrus and fruit elements while intense Sabro highlights the tropical notes of this beer. No fruit added, yet intensely juicy. The result of this unique hop combination is a creamy citrus bomb with tons of orange, lemon, melon, mango and pineapple flavors and aromas.

Can to pint glass. Hazy yellow with full white head. Moderate amounts of juice on both the flavor and aroma. Nothing that explodes, but solid all around.

o12oz can pours with a modestly hazy gold body that has wafer thin copper hues and supports a lasting near white head of foam. The aroma offers up soft mangos and peach blended together with a sense of spicy dank hops and then floral like guava (?). Nice. The taste delivers similar notes of juicy slightly soft slightly sweet mango and guava leading to mild vaguely floral hop bitterness to midway. It picks up a bitter grapefruit like citrus hoppiness into the finish allowing this to stay well away from becoming too sweet. Solid haysy.

Hazy pour with a lingering white head and lacing. The aroma is very fruity with oranges, mango, and grapefruit. The flavor is malty with lots of citrus and some resin. It’s not very bitter at all. Medium body. Juicy. Very good.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a hazy straw gold color with a finger of white foam. Stone fruit, coconut and citrus on the nose. Smooth on the palate with more citrus and stone fruit. Bitterness is restrained, but still similar Stone hop profile. Enjoyable!

On draught at Old Chicago.

Pours a hazy dark yellow with an inch of foam.

It smells of oranges, tropical fruit..mango, light grapefruit.

Taste is oranges, mango, pineapple, light grapefruit, some bread. Very flavourful but doesn't quite hit the spot for me.

Good mouthfeel.

It's another of the style that I'm glad to try but repeats are doubtful.
