A big-bodied beer with a pleasing aroma of pumpkin and nutmeg.

Pale Ale, Wheat, and Light Munich malts combine with the natural tannin in pumpkin and the delicate spiciness of Saphir and Hallertau Hops to balance the sweetness of the fruit.

This beer is best enjoyed at 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

16 oz. can purchased at Rally in St Pete, FL. Pours a clear dark orange-amber color with a thick khaki head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Autumn spice aroma. Similar taste. Wheat ale base beer flavor first, followed by a pumpkin spice and strong alcohol warmth finish. More true pumpkin flavor than other pumpkin beers, but....Like most imperial beers, the 9.0 ABV washes out any flavors. Too bad.

16 ounce can. Amber orange pour. Small creamy beige head. Pumpkin pie spices and urine in nose. Notes of baked pumpkin pie as well. Sweet toasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and brown sugar. Even a hint of flakey pie crust. The 9% ABV shows up in finish. Overall, one of the better pumpkin ales in a crowded pumpkin field.

Tap IPH. Pale. Sweet volatile barley wine aroma. Taste is not as strong as barley wine but its gitten there. Pumpk in the background. Not over the top in the spice arena. Fairly well balanced for the alky content. Civilized at times. Warming sensations down the gullet on the finish. Not bad for a higer alky beer.
