Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, grainy, slightly grassy. Taste is pale malts, herbal hops, grainy, a touch buttery. Solid Helles, but just a bit boring. 6-3-6-3-13Bottle, thanks jonas! Quite a subtle grassy hop note, nicely floral and fresh, thin body. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation Nicely dry and refreshing, much better than what I remember having on tap last winter. Nice one!

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Strawy pale malty nose without any particular depth, except for minor grainy spots. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Strawy malt character with shades of grains and a whiff of herbal hoppy spice, getting slightly stronger towards the sweet and slightly bitter finish. A lacklustre Helles. 26.VII.16

bottle. Golden yellow, tal, fluffy white head. Malty with a pleasant sweetness, not too dry, grassy-citrusy hops in the finish. Very well balanced, smooth palate, very nice.

Fläschla: Clear, pale golden with a greenish sheen, small but persistent creamy white head; sweetish-grainy nose, some well hidden citrussy-strawy hops in the background; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.2% - but at least quite soft; shorter sweetish-grainy finish with suppressed citrussy hops in the aftertaste. Oh no! Not a "franconian" Bier at all, but an exact copy of a boring "lower-bavarian" Helles...
